FIRE AND ICE

the anticipated final season of the Game of Thrones is premiering on Monday. but before that, SKYCABLE amazed us w/ a musical ice skating show inspired but the hit TV series as they made the fan’s night full of lights and wonders!

Skycable held the venue at a place where it’s as chilly as the winter that’s coming to #HBOonSKY and that was at the ice skating rink of SM Megamall. after the registration, there’s a GOT backdrop of Cersei, Jon, Daenerys, and the White King seated comfortably on that epic throne and I got to voting who I’d like to rule all of Kingslanding. my mind was like “Daenerys” but my heart screamed “Jon”, so I followed that beating thing in my chest, darn it.

opening the event was a musical performance from the 4G string quarter as they sent chills up and down our spine when they played GOT’s opening song, I'm like woah!!! it then became woah times two when Sofia Guidote of the Philippine National Figure Skating team and high-level skating coach Joel Minas, gracefully skated and left the audience in wonderment w/ their performance as Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow. it was indeed a sprightly spectacle of skating prowess and we have Skycable to be thankful for coming up w/ such fun-filled, blockbuster events such as this one.
